We first of all want to thank our great community for their generous support of this fundraising project. We were concerned that covid would have a detrimental effect on our efforts, instead we received enough to fill our needs for the youth in supplying a gift to each one 17 and under for 3 southern Piute groups as well as supplying hams and gift cards to elders that had needs. We also had funds left over enough to, under direction of the tribal council members, hand out 8 mini scholarships for students needing higher education assistance.
Needless to say, the needs are still there and in some cases have been amplified by the economic circumstances we are in the midst of mostly due to high inflation. So as in the past now 27 years we are looking to this philanthropic community to help us make a better Christmas for our native neighbors amongst us.
M&S Turquoise and our employees have volunteered the time means and effort to accomplish all we need to to help. Cash donations and toys can be mailed to or dropped off at 53 E. St. George Blvd. We can also take credit card donations by calling 435-628-0393 or venmo contributions @MS Turquoise. 100% of all donations
are used to buy gifts or gift cards and used as scholarship funds. Thanks again for your help and support. Sincerely, Jim Sevy.
