Kanab is set to ring in the holidays with a boot-stompin’, heart-warming celebration as the Redstone Theater hosts A Country Christmas Celebration on Saturday, December 20. The evening features hometown favorites Lyndsey and the Wulf opening the show, followed by a full-scale tribute to the King of Country himself, George Strait, performed by Amarillo by Morning: The George Strait Tribute Band. It is shaping up to be one of those special Kanab nights when the whole community shows up for great music, good cheer, and a big dose of holiday magic.
What makes this show truly sparkle is the blend of Country Christmas classics with Strait’s iconic catalog. Fronted by Grammy-nominated powerhouse Rowdy McCarran, Amarillo by Morning delivers all the hits, including Amarillo by Morning, Check Yes or No, All My Ex’s Live in Texas, and plenty more, with the kind of energy that transports you straight into a stadium show.
