Name: Locket
About this animal: Always looking for that special piece of jewelry then you need to have this special lady in your home. Born with a pendant of orange at her throat offset against white hair, Locket is one high-class dame. She’ll sit very nearby and look you proudly in the eye, her posture elegantly erect, and her tail wrapped primly round … as though she is always posing for a portrait! She would do best in a quiet one cat home. Locket likes petting and attention but is not a “snuggly” cat. She will sit with you but not one to be held and cuddled.

Name: Toby
About this animal: My shelter name is Toby and I have only been here a few days, but it seems like forever. How did a very large, very handsome, cat wind up as a stray? I thought that I had a home and family that loved me once. I will never understand why they did not come to take me home and that now I have to be in a cage. I was found on the street and brought to the shelter. It would seem that I am not too fond of other cats, I just prefer to soak up all of the love and attention for myself.

Name: Robin
About this animal: If your household is looking for an active and fun loving companion then come on down to the shelter and meet Robin. He came from living in a back yard; this playful 10 month old pup is pit bull terrier blend. He is eager to please, but will need consistent training and structure in order to fit your lifestyle. His enthusiasm and excitement for life is endearing but will need to be channeled into rigorous activities. He will need continued basic training and socialization to keep him the best canine he can be. He loves toys and of course doggie treats. He is doing well with his leash training. Because he is so active and strong we recommend a home with No young children. Very unusual coloration and markings

Name: Gizmo
About this animal: My name is Gizmo. I am a very inventive boy and I can turn any ordinary day into an adventure. I would be thrilled to accompany my new pet-parents on their athletic pursuits and outdoor adventures. I am always on the go, so I hope you are active like me! I would like going on runs, hikes, or long walks in the neighborhood. I’m a lovable companion seeking a special home where I’ll be a cherished member of the family. Gizmo had a family that moved and could not take him with them. He is learning to walk on a leash. He loves to sit on your lap and cuddle. He does have some separation issues so it would be better if there were people at his home most of the time until he understands he is not being left alone.

Animal Name: Flash
About this pet: Flash, from PAWS (Providing Animals With Support), is a beautiful Palomino-colored medium-sized Beagle X about 5 years old. He came out of a hoarding situation where he lived outside with 30 other dogs. It has been so gratifying for all of the volunteers at PAWS to see the change in Flash over the past months through our love and attention to him. He is still a bit skittish when meeting a stranger, but now we are able to walk him on a leash. Flash has become very playful and loving with humans (something he didn’t understand when he came to us). He does need a forever home, however, to continue to become one awesome dog. Come meet this sweet boy at PAWS if you would like to foster or adopt.
