Anglers Invited to Compete in the 2025 Panguitch Ice Fishing Derby

Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 1, 2025, and prepare your gear for the 2025 Panguitch Ice Fishing Derby at beautiful Panguitch Lake! This annual event draws anglers from across the region for a day of friendly competition and great prizes.
Competition Details: Fishing begins bright and early at 6 AM and concludes at 3 PM. Participants can bring their single largest catch—rainbow trout only—to the Social Hall at 65 E. Center St., Panguitch, for weigh-in between 3 PM and 4:30 PM. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at 4:30 PM.
Participants In The Adult Competition Can Compete For:
- $500 for the heaviest fish (1st place)
- $250 for the second heaviest fish (2nd place)
- $500 for the longest fish (1st place)
- $250 for the second-longest fish (2nd place)
Youth Anglers Will Compete For:
- $150 for the heaviest and longest fish (1st place)
- $75 for the second heaviest and longest fish (2nd place)
The Team Competition For Teams Of Five:
- $500 for the heaviest combined catch
- $250 for the second-heaviest combined catch
A $500 Luckiest Fisherman Jackpot will also be awarded by random drawing, giving everyone a chance to win!
Registration Details: Register online at Panguitch.com before midnight, January 30, 2025. Fees are $50 for teams, $20 for individual adults, and $10 for individual youth.
