The Stage Door is excited to announce its upcoming production of Joseph Kesselring’s comedic masterpiece, Arsenic and Old Lace, set to light up The Electric Theater from August 29 to September 14. This timeless farce will run Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 PM, with an additional matinee performance on Saturday, September 7.
Arsenic and Old Lace transports audiences to the quaint yet quirky Brewster household, where two seemingly sweet elderly sisters, Abby and Martha Brewster, have a shocking secret. As their nephew Mortimer Brewster uncovers their peculiar charitable deeds, a series of hilarious and unexpected events unfolds. The Stage Door’s production promises to deliver both suspense and laughter in equal measure, all under the expert direction of Josh and Jalee Scott.
The talented Chrystine Hyatt takes on the role of Aunt Martha Brewster, bringing her signature charm and comedic flair to the character.
