Art Around the Corner Celebrates 21 Years with New Sculpture Installation & Community Event

Southern Utah Weekend Events Guide features Art Around the Corner 2016The Art Around the Corner Foundation (AACF) is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated 2025 Outdoor Sculpture Gallery installation, marking 21 years of bringing world-class public art to St. George. This year’s event will feature 38 new sculptures showcased throughout the downtown arts district and additional locations along Main Street.

A community event marking the Installation will take place at Historic Town Square from 10 AM till noon on April 12, transforming the city into an immersive outdoor gallery.

“Public art brings vibrancy, inspiration, and a sense of place to our community,” said St. George Mayor Michele Randall. “Art Around the Corner has been a cornerstone of this city for over two decades, and we invite everyone to come out and enjoy this year’s incredible collection.”

A Community Celebration

The April 12 installation is more than just an art reveal — it’s a community event! Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to walk through the arts district, meet the artists, and experience the sculptures up close. This year’s collection features a diverse range of styles, mediums, and subject matter, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, there will be live music and light refreshments while supplies last.

Supporting Artists & Expanding Public Art

Since 2004, Art Around the Corner has worked to support artists through its “art on loan” program, encouraging national and regional sculptors to install their works in St. George for a full year. The Foundation also helps facilitate the purchasing and leasing of sculptures to expand public and private art collections.

“In our 21st year, we remain committed to making fine art accessible to all,” said Heather Atkin, AACF Executive Director. “We’re proud to celebrate another year of inspiring creativity and community engagement.”

Ahead of the big day on April 11th, tickets are now available for An Evening with the Artists, our annual fundraiser and social event. You can also support the event by volunteering, making a donation, or sponsoring an artist’s dinner.
