IVINS, UTAH — Every October, art aficionados and families alike converge in the stunning Kayenta Art Village in Ivins, Utah, for a three-day extravaganza celebrating creativity and culture. The annual Art in Kayenta Festival, now in its 23rd year, promises a captivating experience combining world-class art, breathtaking desert landscapes, culinary delights, live music, and so much more. This year’s event will take place from Friday, October 13th, to Sunday, October 15th, 2023.
A Visual and Sensory Delight
Art in Kayenta is a feast for the senses. Against the backdrop of the iconic Ivins Red Mountain, festival-goers can immerse themselves in the world of art as over 50 regional and national artists showcase their expertise in a diverse range of media, including sculpture, painting, jewelry, ceramics, wood, metal, and more. According to Rob Goodman, Chair of the Kayenta Arts Foundation, “The quality of art and extent of creative expression at the Festival is extraordinary. Combined with the Art Village setting and backdrop of the Ivins Red Mountain, it is truly a special experience.”

Beyond the art, the festival offers an array of culinary delights from festival vendors, a beer and wine garden, live music performances, and the delectable offerings of Kayenta’s own Xetava Café and Bar. Bid on Original Art at the Silent Auction
One of the festival’s highlights is the silent auction, featuring original works from the participating artists and items from local businesses. Festival attendees have the exclusive opportunity to bid on selected art pieces, with proceeds benefiting the Center For the Arts at Kayenta and the performing arts in Southern Utah. It’s a chance to take home a piece of the festival and support the vibrant arts community.
