ART Provides has opened submissions for Herstory Reframed, a curated group exhibition that tells of her story through visual art. During ART Provides’ interim as a mobile organization, the 2026 exhibit will be installed at a pop-up venue in Washington County. A location has been secured, venue details will be announced closer to the exhibition to prevent premature inquiries to the host site and to keep the focus on the work. Accepted artists will receive full venue information with their acceptance packet.
Herstory Reframed explores layered stories of women, welcoming direct or abstract interpretations. Themes may include resilience and resistance, body, identity, and voice, ancestry, lineage, and care, feminine labor, leadership, and liberation, and memory, myth, and future making. Work that sparks dialogue, honors nuance, and offers a lens into personal or collective experience is encouraged.

All visual media are eligible, including painting, photography, sculpture, digital art, fiber, and mixed media. Artists may submit up to eight available pieces for consideration, with final selections based on quality, relevance, and curatorial balance. Artwork must be original and for sale, a 40 percent commission applies. Submissions should include high-resolution JPG or PNG files labeled with the artist’s name and artwork title, along with title, dimensions, medium, and a brief statement for each piece. Artists are responsible for delivery and return shipping, include a prepaid return label if needed.
The submission deadline is Monday, November 4, 2025, notifications will be sent Tuesday, November 18, 2025. The exhibition runs March 6 through April 18, 2026. The entry fee is $30 per artist.
