Brian Head Resort’s snow-making team, groomers, and Mother Nature have teamed up to prepare for what is certain to be an amazing opening weekend! On Friday, Nov. 20, Brian Head Resort will open for the 2015-16 winter season, kicking off their 51st year.
The recent storms deposited over two feet of new powder on top of Brian Head’s man-made base. The Giant Steps Express Lift (chair 2) and Blackfoot Lift (chair 3) on the Giant Steps side of the mountain will be operating with excellent early season conditions. Night skiing on chair 3 will also be operating on Friday and Saturday nights from 4-9 p.m. starting Nov. 20.
Conditions on the resort’s open runs will be wonderful for the first weekend of the 2015-16 season. Giant Steps Lodge will be fully operational with rental, retail, food and beverage, as well as the Last Chair Saloon.
Plans are in the works to have Navajo Lodge, Chairs 4 and 6 and the acclaimed Terrain Based Learning and Kids programs in full operation starting Nov. 27.
