Brigham’s Playhouse presents “Beauty and the Beast”
The last show in Brigham’s Playhouse’s 2018 Summer Junior Series is “Beauty and the Beast,” which runs Thursdays through Saturdays at 7 p.m., with matinee performances at 2 p.m. on Saturdays through Aug. 11. The show is performed by children from the organization’s 2018 summer camp attendees.
“Beauty and the Beast” tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But if the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
