Brigham’s Playhouse presents “Camelot”
By Melanie Baxendale
The legendary love triangle of King Arthur, Guinevere, and Sir Lancelot leaps from the pages of T.H. White’s novel in Brigham’s Playhouse’s production of Lerner and Loewe’s award-winning musical. “Camelot” runs Thursdays through Saturdays at 7 p.m. with matinee performances Saturdays at 2 p.m. through March 23.
Borrowing from the Arthurian legends, “Camelot” is the duo’s fantastical masterpiece that triumphed on Broadway in a legendary original production. An idealistic young King Arthur hopes to create a kingdom built on honor and dignity, embodied by his Knights of The Round Table. However, his ideals are tested when his lovely queen, Guinevere, falls in love with the young knight Lancelot, and the fate of the kingdom hangs in the balance.

My wife & I went to Camelot a couple of weeks ago and left after the intermission because the sound was just so overwhelmingly loud, it hurt our ears. Tone it down a bit guys & gals.
