CasaBlanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel announce September entertainment

The CasaBlanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel offer a variety of live stage entertainment options in large and small settings, including up-and-coming bands, brilliant tribute artists and talented lounge acts. Below is a schedule of upcoming September events.
CasaBlanca Events Center
The latest addition in event space, the CasaBlanca Events Center is the prime location for larger meetings and events. Just steps outside the resort, the event center is 33,000 square feet and has played host to numerous concerts, sporting events and banquets serving as many as 1,200 people.
Sept. 6–8: CasaBlanca Rib Fest
The CasaBlanca Rib Fest will fire up the streets of Mesquite this September with award-winning barbecue competition teams, including Chicago BBQ Company, Texas Outlaw BBQ and Austin’s Texas Lightning BBQ. Vendors will serve up mouthwatering ribs and other savory barbecue classics, alongside a beer garden serving craft beers and specialty liquor. Guests can also enjoy music courtesy of DJ Jimmy Z and kid-friendly activities such as watermelon- and pie-eating contests.
Sept. 20–22: Super Run Car Show
In partnership with the Las Vegas Cruisin’ Association, the Super Run Classic Car Show provides a jam-packed weekend for car aficionados of all ages, culminating together in a sea of vintage vehicles, street rods and hot rods. Guests can expect a variety of makes and models of classic vehicles, including vintage, originals, hot rods, muscle cars, street rods and more. Fan-favorite events include the open header cruise, roaring engines, slow drags and burn-out competitions.
CasaBlanca Showroom
With a capacity of 475, the CasaBlanca Showroom provides an eclectic mix of live stage entertainment and state-of-the-art sound.
8:30 p.m. Sept. 6: Aeromyth
Through countless performances, Aeromyth has been honing their craft for over a decade. Hailed as “the ultimate Aerosmith tribute experience,” Aeromyth stays true to the authenticity of one of America’s greatest rock bands. 8:30 p.m. Sept. 7: Tribute to ZZ Top: Beer Drinkers & Hell Raisers
Formed in 2011, Beer Drinkers & Hell Raisers are the Bay Area’s own Ultimate ZZ Top tribute. The band pays homage to every detail of ZZ Top’s best music. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through Star Tickets or through CasaBlanca Resort.
8:30 p.m. Sept. 13: Comedy Machine
Join three top comedians, Dennis Blair, Trever Trez Mala, and Holly Logan as they come together for a fun night of laughter. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through Star Tickets or through CasaBlanca Resort. Admission is free for those born on Sept. 12–15.
8:30 p.m. Sept. 14: Fan Halen
Fan Halen has been together for over 10 years playing to enthusiastic crowds throughout the nation and worldwide. As one of the most authentic tributes to Van Halen, Fan Halen sets the stage with a true-to-life tribute experience. 8:30 p.m. Sept. 20: Reckless in Vegas
Reckless in Vegas blends classic music from the 1960s Las Vegas glory days with contemporary rock band aesthetic. Songs from artists like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Elvis Presley will grace the stage and leave the audience wanting more. 8:30 p.m. Sept. 21: BeeGees Gold
The Bee Gees Gold tribute is a musical sensation that takes you back to the band’s prime. With John Acosta as Barry Gibb, this show brings a zest for detail to favorite hits like “Stayin Alive,” “You Should Be Dancing,” and more. 8:30 p.m. Sept. 27: The Fab: The Beatles Abbey Road Album
With over 400 songs in their playlist, The Fab captures the full Beatles experience in one exciting show. They their expertise, The Fab performs everything from top hits to deep tracks, leaving the audience twisting and shouting all night long. 8:30 p.m. Sept. 28: Tom Stevens Unplugged
Tom Stevens has a new show featuring new voices like John Denver and Gary Pucket. Along with his more popular impressions, he will be performing his infamous “Hollywood Karoke Party.” Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through Star Tickets or through CasaBlanca Resort.
CasaBlanca Skydome Lounge
The Skydome Lounge features a wide variety of music including dance, R&B, classic rock, and Motown. Lounge entertainment runs Tuesdays from 6 to 10 p.m., Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to midnight, Thursdays from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., and Sundays from 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
From Memphis to Las Vegas – A Tribute to the King
This tribute to the King stars John Brooks Tuesday nights at 6 p.m.
Jamit
The four-piece Las Vegas variety band will crank up the excitement and keep everyone involved and partying all night. With a dynamite lead singer and performer, TinaLou, Jamit will play everything from classic and modern rock, R&B, pop, country and more 7 p.m. Sept. 4, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 5, 8 p.m. Sept. 6, 8 p.m. Sept. 7, and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 8.
Touch of Silk
Touch of Silk is a dynamic group of talented musicians performing R&B hits from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s 7 p.m. Sept. 11, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 12, 8 p.m. Sept. 13, 8 p.m. Sept. 14, and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 15.
Mickey Utley Band
Mickey Utley’s deep love of music since childhood has transformed into a unique style of “blue-eyed soul sound” that has taken the band to venues all over the world. Mickey Utley Band will perform 7 p.m. Sept. 18, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 19, 8 p.m. Sept. 20, 8 p.m. Sept. 21, and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 22.
Gregg Peterson
With his four-piece band, Gregg Peterson creates his own powerful and distinctive sound. Mesquite and Las Vegas’ favorite variety and dance band, Peterson will play classics from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s to the contemporary hits of today in one sharply-dressed package. 7 p.m. Sept. 25, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 26, 8 p.m. Sept. 27, 8 p.m. Sept. 28, and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 29.
The River Lounge
The River Lounge provides live stage entertainment with state-of-the-art sound, an intimate dance floor and full-service bar. The venue offers a comfortable and intimate party experience. Fall programming includes live bands Wednesdays–Sundays. Lounge entertainment runs Wednesdays from 7 to 11 p.m., Thursdays and Sundays from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The Ride
Singing a great variety of classic rock, such as Aerosmith ZZ Top and everything in between, The Ride will keep the crowd rocking all night long with some of your favorite classics 7 p.m. Sept. 4, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 5, 8 p.m. Sept. 6, 8 p.m. Sept. 7, and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 8.
Hal Savar Band
The Hal Savar Band is perfectly described as a classic rock vibe with a country heart and blues soul. The Hal Savar Band is known as the “Live Human Juke Box” because they have mastered hundreds of songs and have the ability to take all requests in numerous genres including folk, rock, country, oldies, top-40, rhythm and blues, rap, hip hop, reggae and more. The Hal Savar Band will perform 7 p.m. Sept. 11, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 12, 8 p.m. Sept. 13, 8 p.m. Sept. 14, and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 15.
Guitars & Cadillacs
Guitars & Cadillacs plays a delightful blend of old and newer country as well as favorite hits from the ’50s. The music lineup includes songs from country legends like Hank Williams, Willie Nelson and George Strait, to ’50s icons like the Everly Brothers, Ricky Nelson and Chuck Berry. Guitars & Cadillacs will perform, 7 p.m. Sept. 18, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 19, 8 p.m. Sept. 20, 8 p.m. Sept. 21, and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 22.
Nitro Express
Nitro Express provides a unique concert experience by playing classic rock, blues, bluegrass, R&B, country, southern rock, surf music, Motown, and even reggae. They’ll put their own stylistic stamp on every song they perform and make it their own. 7 p.m. Sept. 25, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 26, 8 p.m. Sept. 27, 8 p.m., Sept. 28, and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 29.
