By Elizabeth Gunter
Swashbuckling romance and secret heroism take center stage as Cedar Valley Community Theatre presents The Scarlet Pimpernel at Cedar City’s Heritage Center Theater. Performances run through early June, with evening shows at 7:30 PM.
Based on the classic novel by Baroness Orczy and adapted into a Broadway musical, The Scarlet Pimpernel tells the thrilling story of an English nobleman who risks everything to rescue innocents from the guillotine during the French Revolution—while keeping his true identity hidden behind a mask of wit and extravagance.
Directed by and starring members of the Cedar Valley community, this production blends intrigue, romance, and a soaring score to deliver a crowd-pleasing night at the theater.
