There’s Always Something to Do in Kane County!

Summer in Kane County is bursting with events, traditions, and community spirit. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, our Heritage Days of Summer offer nonstop fun all season long.
To kick things off, don’t miss the PRCA Catori Canyon Heritage Rodeo in Kanab on May 30–31 at 7 PM. Bull riding, steer wrestling, and barrel racing will keep the adrenaline high, while the beer garden, Raven’s Rest dirty sodas, and delicious local grub keep you refreshed and satisfied.

In June, catch outdoor movies at the Kanab Center on June 7 and 13, followed by 1950s Weekend on June 16 and a classic drive-in movie on June 17. Then it’s time for Jacob Hamblin Days, featuring the heartwarming Rascal Rodeo and the family fun Ranch Rodeo, from June 26–28.

July starts with Independence Day celebrations across Kanab, Orderville, Alton, and Duck Creek, with Orderville marking its 150th anniversary July 4–5. More outdoor movies return to the Kanab Center on July 11 and 18, followed by a time-sake 1890s Social Dinner at the Heritage House July 19, and a festive Pioneer Day Celebration at Jackson Flat Reservoir. Come back to the reservoir on July 26 for the Radiator Springs Car Rally and Movie Night.
August keeps the fun going with the United Order of Orderville Play (July 31, Aug 1, 2, 4 & 5), Reggae Fest in East Zion (Aug 1–2), and the Kane County Fair on Aug 1–2 and 8–9, featuring the Miss Kane County Scholarship Program on Aug 6. Don’t miss the spicy Hatch Chile Festival at Honey’s Marketplace (Aug 8–9), the final outdoor movie on Aug 15, and the throwback 1990s Party on Aug 16.

Be sure to check out Legends Weekend on Aug 22–23 at Jackson Flat Reservoir, where you can enjoy live bands, cowboy poets, and vendors all day long. Don’t miss the rodeo the night of August 22 and the Leon Brinkerhoff Memorial Roping on Aug 23. Wrap up the summer events with the Thunder Mountain Pow Wow at the end of August.
