CELEBRATE IRON COUNTY HISTORY AT FRONTIER HOMESTEAD
Cedar City, UT- Frontier Homestead State Park, in partnership with the Cedar City Corporation, celebrates the founding of Cedar City with two days of hands-on activities designed to honor the spirit of our community and those that created opportunities for our growth. Enjoy the cool, crisp fall air on Friday & Saturday, November 11th & 12th from 10 AM to 4 PM as Frontier Homestead hosts its annual Iron Mission Days. The cost is $8.00 per family or free with a museum friends membership.
Pioneer activities and living history demonstrations will be available. Featured activities include blacksmithing, our ever-popular rag dolls, log cutting and more. Craft vendors will be set up throughout the park and the local HAM radio club will be on hand and broadcasting from the park. On Saturday, representatives from Cedar City Corporation will hand out birthday cake to mark the occasion.
