On Tuesday, May 26, the U.S. Congressman for the Second District of Utah, Chris Stewart, will be holding town hall meetings in both Cedar City and Hurricane.
“Town halls are a great opportunity for me to meet you and hear your views about the critical issues facing our nation,” Steward said in a press release. “Whether you want to voice your concerns about public lands, the budget, or national security, your views are very important to me. I’m holding town hall meetings … in Hurricane and Cedar City. I hope to see you there!”
The Cedar City town hall meeting will be held at Southern Utah University in the Sharwan Smith Center, Church Auditorium 351, at 5 p.m. The Hurricane town hall meeting will be at Hurricane High School at 7 p.m.
Recently, The Independent published an article on another attempt by Stewart to connect with the people, setting up mobile offices throughout Utah’s Second District.
