Coyote Tales “Art Matters” features storytellers, cocktail party, and fundraising showdown
By Merrie Lee
On April 21 at 7 p.m., Kayenta will host a fundraising version of its Coyote Tales storytelling event series. Unlike the regular open-mic-style Coyote Tales, this is a special curated cocktail party-style event featuring 10 invited storytellers from our neck of the woods and across the state whose tales on art will wow you.
It will be the ultimate showdown of words! After all stories have been told, audience members will vote with their wallets for the best Coyote Tale of the evening. This is one event where we want you to bring your cell phone! Voting will be done electronically via your smartphone. The cocktail buffet will be provided by Petite Feast. Be sure to stay for dessert, it’s going to be coyote-howl-worthy! Avoid the lines and pre-purchase your beverage tickets online. A current ID must be presented to collect pre-purchased beverage tickets. They will be available the evening of the show. Tickets are $35, and all proceeds benefit the Kayenta Art Foundation and Center.
There’s no assigned seating. It’s a cocktail party! Come join the fun.
