Crank It Up: Six String Revolver Sparks a Hard Rock Revival in Southern Utah

Six String Revolver (SSR) is blazing a high-octane trail across the Southwest, channeling the raw spirit of American Hard Rock. Hailing from Hurricane, Utah—where the red rock landscape mirrors their fiery energy—this powerhouse band has shared stages with icons like Saliva, Faster Pussycat, Saving Abel, Fishbone, and Hed PE. Their members have also individually performed alongside legends such as Henry Rollins, LA Guns, Alice Cooper, Great White, Sammy Hagar, Sevendust, and Ratt.

Despite these impressive credentials, SSR’s true strength lies in their dedication to original music. Every show is a concert, not just another gig, delivering arena-style production and a thunderous performance that leaves crowds breathless. As frontman Raven Cain puts it:

“Being in Six String Revolver is more than just being part of a band—it’s stepping into a sacred space. Performing live is a spiritual experience for me, like calling the tribe together to dance around the fire. The stage becomes our altar, the music our prayer, and the crowd our congregation. It’s not just a show; it’s the Church of Rock, where we come together to feel alive, free, and connected to something greater than ourselves.”

Raven’s commanding vocals and introspective lyrics are at the heart of SSR’s sound. Raised in a doomsday cult, he defied the odds to become a prominent figure in the rock world—signing with major labels, earning multiple #1 hits on the 365 music charts, and mesmerizing audiences with his larger-than-life stage presence. On lead guitar is Hawkeye Pearce, a technical virtuoso who has opened for the likes of Alice Cooper and Sammy Hagar. His searing solos and dynamic playing add razor-sharp edges to the band’s explosive repertoire.

Providing the pulsing low end is Chuck Triplett, a 25-year music veteran who has opened for Saliva, Faster Pussycat, Royal Bliss, and more. Chuck’s melodic bass lines and onstage charisma form the band’s bedrock, while Robert “Monster” Cantu delivers drum beats fueled by Monster energy drinks and a love of legends like John Bonham and Buddy Rich. With his vast experience playing iconic venues—Whisky a Go Go, The Troubadour, and beyond—Robert’s relentless rhythms tie everything together.

This year, Six String Revolver is keeping momentum high with key concert dates: May 17 at Harley Davidson in Salt Lake City, June 28 at Summer Metal Fest in Corona, California, and September 13 at HurraPaLooza in Hurricane. Their debut album is in the works, and a new single is tentatively set for release on March 1, promising a fresh blast of their signature blend of classic grit and modern rock punch.

Beyond the music, SSR prides itself on professionalism and partnership. They pour their efforts into promoting each event—marrying social media, email campaigns, and local outreach to ensure every venue is packed. The result? A reputation for sold-out shows and an “arena feel” that’s both crowd-pleasing and collaborative.

For hard-rock fans seeking authenticity and a full-throttle concert experience, Six String Revolver delivers in spades. With every riff and roar, the band is on a mission to keep the flame of original rock alive—recruiting a growing congregation to join them at the “Church of Rock.” Strap in: SSR is only getting started, and their revolution has plenty of fire left to burn.
