Crystal Festival Returns to Hurricane with Gems, Geodes, and Family Fun

Rockhounds, crystal collectors, and curious kids alike—mark your calendars! The Crystal Festival is bringing its dazzling showcase of rocks, minerals, fossils, and handcrafted treasures to Hurricane’s Washington County Legacy Park on May 31 and June 1, 2025.

Hosted in the Grafton Building, this free, family-friendly event runs from 10 AM to 8 PM both days and features over 30 vendors offering everything from sparkling geodes and polished cabochons to handmade jewelry and home décor. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just discovering the magic of minerals, there’s something for everyone.

What to Expect

The Crystal Festival is more than just a shopping event—it’s a full weekend of interactive experiences. Attendees can enjoy:

  • Children’s activities and workshops
  • Rockhounding trip sign-ups
  • Meet-and-greets with mine owners, lapidary artists, and geologists
  • “This Old Rock” identification booth to learn about your own specimens
  • From fossils and beads to crystal towers and carved stone art, the variety is as vast as the Utah desert. The event is designed to unite geology lovers and metaphysical enthusiasts alike in a welcoming, educational environment.
