Ivins City is stepping into spring with a trifecta of fun-filled community events — from treasure hunting at a giant yard sale to a high-energy 5K and a relaxed fitness celebration complete with live music. Whether you’re in the mood to shop, jog, or just jam out, there’s something for everyone.
Community Yard Sale – Saturday, April 12th, 9 AM–12 PM
The 4th Annual Ivins Community Yard Sale returns to the West Parking Lot of City Hall (85 N Main St). It’s free to browse and shop, or just $5 to reserve a seller’s space if your spring cleaning needs a serious outlet. “This event has become a fun springtime tradition,” says Ivins City Recreation Coordinator Sarah Nash. Expect a little bit of everything — and maybe that one thing you didn’t know you needed.
Easter Egg Scramble & Hog-N-Jog 5K – Saturday, April 19th
Start your Saturday with a sprint (or stroll) in the Hog-N-Jog 5K at 8 AM at UNITY Park (400 S 200 W). Immediately after, the Easter Egg Scramble invites kids aged 3 and under to 12 to collect colorful goodies. Bring your own basket — and your early morning energy!
Concert in the Park & Slothathalon Finale – Friday, May 2nd
Wind down the spring season with Ivins’ unique Slothathalon celebration at Heritage Park (100 N 100 W), beginning at 6 PM. After a month-long fitness challenge, participants will be awarded medals and prizes — no speed required. At 7 PM, the park transforms into a concert venue, with live music and food trucks to cap off the evening. It’s free to attend, so bring your picnic blankets and good vibes.
