Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont, silent movie darlings on the silver screen, harbor secrets that lurk behind the glamorous facade. Meanwhile, Lina’s distinctive voice threatens to derail her career in the era of “talking pictures” unless a gifted young actress steps in to provide both the voice and the melody.
