Don’t miss the penultimate Final Friday Art Walk for 2018

The Cedar City Arts Council’s third Final Friday Art Walk will take place Aug. 31 5 to 8 p.m. and will feature multiple artists from the community. Final Friday Art Walk features various art forms including live jazz, contemporary and classical music, and art demonstrations. Final Friday Art Walk is free and open to the public.
There will be artist demonstrations and exhibits from The Sagebrush Fiber Artisans Guild, Twisted Sister, and Sunshine Pearl Dives Jewelry on the lawn at 100 W and Center Street along with the Orchestra of Southern Utah.
Artisans Gallery will host singer Roice Nelson who will perform his songs from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by violinist Alex Szuhay from 7 to 8 p.m. Artist Tina Davis will have a display at the gallery.
ArtWorks Gallery will host vocal performances by Sofie Scaletta from 5 to 8 p.m. and painter and sculptor Victoria Wagner will display her creations.
IG Winery will host a performance by the MB3 Jazz Quartet from 5 to 7 p.m.
The Red Rock Flute Choir will performing 6 p.m. in front of Stone Path at 150 W. University St. This group comprises flautists from throughout Washington County. The ensemble originated after their contact with each other through various other groups such as the DSU Flute Choir, the Washington City Concert Band, and the Southwest Symphony. Its musical repertoire includes show tunes, religious pieces, marches, and classical, modern, and popular music. Joey Favino will do art demonstrations and will have an exhibit inside Stone Path.
Canyon Reverb, a musical group whose repertoire ranges from love songs from the ‘30s to contemporary country, will perform at the SUMA plaza from 5 to 6 p.m. Off the Cuff Improv will be in the gallery from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by the Southern Utah String Quartet from to 8 p.m.
