Due to a heavy show of support from its sponsors and the community in general, DOVE Center’s event, “Breaking the Silence Through Storytelling,” has sold out.
“DOVE Center is grateful for the tremendous support of community members and sponsors who give generously at this event through a silent auction, Fund a Need auction, and cash donations,” reads a statement on its website. “We know [they] will enjoy the great food, fabulous entertainment, and poignant message — all aimed at raising awareness and support for survivors.”
Without public and private support, DOVE Center wouldn’t be able to press forward in the work of both raising awareness about domestic violence and helping survivors of domestic violence.
DOVE Center expressed gratitude to those who have made substantial contributions through their sponsorships. This list includes platinum sponsors Pat Shoemaker Glessner, Carpets Plus, Desert Canyons Development, and Performance Diesel and gold sponsors Margie Huber and Cherry Creek Mortgage.
While sponsorship and cash donations are essential to the work of fighting domestic violence, there is always something community members can do regardless of their financial situation to help support both DOVE Center and its causes.
