50 years ago today – THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE officially started… and days later on December 22 – to a call for surrender we gave the following response. Nuts… Not to take away from General George S Patton’s role – he was not quite the hero portrayed by George C Scott in regards to deaerving all the credit. Don’t get me wrong… Just sayin those brave soldiers did most of it on their own. Peace out
