
Entertainment Is King At This Year’s Washington County Fair

The Washington County Fair will return this year on April 11 through April 19, 2025, promising a week filled with entertainment, competitions, and community festivities for all ages!
Concerts and Live Entertainment – Country music enthusiasts are in for a treat with two major concerts beginning with Lonestar. The award-winning band, known for hits like “Amazed” and “I’m Already There,” will perform on Monday, April 14. Next up is Lee Greenwood. Celebrated for his patriotic anthem “God Bless the USA,” Greenwood takes the stage on Wednesday, April 16. In addition to these headliners, the fair will feature various local artists and bands throughout the week, ensuring continuous live entertainment for attendees.
Traditional Rodeo – The fair upholds its Western heritage with two evenings of rodeo action! Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12 – Both nights commence at 7 PM in the large outdoor arena, with gates opening at 5:30 PM. Spectators can anticipate thrilling performances by cowboys and cowgirls competing in the Rocky Mountain Professional Rodeo Association.
Demolition Derby – A highlight for many is the Demolition Derby, which is slated for Saturday, April 19, with gates opening at 5:30 PM and a start time of 7 PM.

Tickets are priced at $30 if purchased before April 19 and $35 on the day of the derby. It’s important to note that these prices do not include the $3 gate admission.
The Annual Parade – Embracing the theme “Celebrating Our Nation,” the parade is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, at 9 AM in St. George. The lineup for participants begins at 7:30 AM on Tabernacle Street, west of 200 West.
What fair is complete without an awesome carnival and family-friendly activities?
April 12: 4 PM to 10 PM – April 13: 10 AM to 10 PM – April 15-16: 4 PM to 10 PM (Family Nights with all rides at $2.00) – April 17-18: 4 PM to 10 PM and finally April 19: 10 AM to 11 PM.

Beyond the rides, attendees can explore exhibits, enjoy food vendors, visit the Animal Education Center & Petting Zoo, and relax in the Beer Garden.
Competitions and Showcases are at the heart of this year’s fair, with community participation through various contests. Baby Contest: Saturday, April 20, at 10:30 AM – Kids Cookie Contest: Saturday, April 20, at 11 AM – Fresh Salsa Contest: Saturday, April 20, at 2:30 PM
Additionally, there will be showcases for literary arts, princesses, and more, highlighting the diverse talents within the community.

Capping off select nights with spectacular fireworks displays on April 12, 13, & 19 at 10 PM. These displays promise to light up the night sky, offering a memorable experience for all attendees.
