Easter is early this year, so don’t forget your Easter weekend pies! With Easter right around the corner on Sunday, April 5, Village Inn is here to help make your Easter celebration festive and delicious. Village Inn pies are an Easter tradition, and are the perfect addition to any Easter brunch.
Village Inn offers around 15 varieties of pie everyday, along with signature feature and seasonal pies throughout the year. Village Inn is currently offering the European Truffle Pie during the Easter season for a limited time through April 5, while supplies last. The pie includes a decadent dark chocolate cookie crumb crust filled with layers of dark chocolate silk, topped with smooth chocolate whipped cream and chocolate swirls. Village Inn is also featuring Lemon Meringue pie, as well as other award-winning year round pies such as Country Apple, French Silk, Lemon Supreme, or Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup pie, just to name a few.
If you are baking your own pies for Easter check out the pie decorating tips from the pie experts at Village Inn:
•Add green food coloring to shredded coconut to create coconut that looks like grass. Place the green coconut on the bottom half of the pie as the base for a spring theme.
•Place Peeps® marshmallow candies on top of the coconut grass.
•Use jelly beans, chocolate eggs, or robin egg candies as Easter eggs to decorate the outside of the pie or to make the top of the pie look like an Easter egg hunt scene.
Throughout the month of April, Village Inn guests are encouraged to donate $1 to support the Boys and Girls Club. In return, guests will receive a coupon for a free slice of Village Inn’s Best Pie in America®. Over the last year, Village Inn has donated more than $68,000 to support the Boys and Girls Clubs thanks to contributions from guests and Village Inn restaurants across the country.
