In KANAB, there is a market every FRIDAY morning from nine to Noon set up in the parking lot of the Iron Horse restaurant all year around. Fresh eggs, breads, and other baked treats are always on hand. There are also always homemade jams and local honey. Various artisans are on hand with the creations from their wonderful imaginations. While in town, stop into the Tourism Office across from the Hampton Inn and learn about all the sites and hikes nearby. Make Kanab your vacation home base of Southern Utah.

The additional KANAB market happens on WEDNESDAY evenings through October, and it is HUGE. Come get dinner from the food providers. Often, there is musical entertainment. Homemade lollipops for the kids and fresh sourdough bread for sandwiches while traveling. Often, there is seasonal fresh-picked citrus. There are always farm-fresh eggs. Find the market on the lawn of the Kanab Center across from the Parry Lodge, starting at 5 to 8 PM.


The DUCK CREEK OUTDOOR MARKET is a phenomenal SATURDAY event. A large and diverse range of vendors. Fresh, delicious, and beautiful things to taste and have. Talented bakers. Produce providers. Creative crafters and artisans. Get your unique specialty souvenirs here. Homemade jams and local honey. An excellent place for lunch. Right there in the center of Duck Creek Village every Saturday from Memorial Day weekend to the end of September. It’s happening from 10 AM to 2 PM, 865 E. Movie Ranch Rd.

We highly suggest you spend time exploring CEDAR MOUNTAIN. The scenery is breathtaking. The hiking trails are epic. Have your breath taken away traveling cross country on an expansive range of trails in a rented “Side by Side.” Getting to Cedar Breaks National Monument is a lifetime goal.

Heading West on RT 89 from Kanab MONDAY evening? Stop in ORDERVILLE. From 5:30 to 7:30 PM during June to the end of September. Fresh local produce. The best of creative baked goods. A fine group of artisans. They will be right in the town center on the State Bank lawn.
