The Southern Utah Museum of Art invites the community to its monthly First Friday event on January 3, a free after-hours evening designed to make art approachable, interactive, and social.
Held from 6–8 PM, First Friday offers visitors the chance to explore SUMA’s world-class exhibitions in a relaxed setting, enjoy hands-on activities in the classroom, and experience the museum as a welcoming gathering place for all ages. Whether stopping in for a quick visit or spending the full evening wandering the galleries, the event encourages guests to connect with art in fresh and meaningful ways.
This month’s featured activity is button making, with all supplies provided by SUMA. The creative, drop-in format makes First Friday an easy way for families, students, and art lovers to engage together while building a habit of regular museum visits.
First Friday is free and open to all ages. The Southern Utah Museum of Art is located at 13 S. 300 W. in Cedar City. More information about this event and future First Friday programs is available through SUMA’s official events calendar.
