The Mesquite Off-Road Weekend festival returns this weekend with more insane racing, fan interaction experiences, mud bogs and the addition of freestyle motocross legend “Cowboy” Kenny Bartram and his Steel Rodeo.

Mesquite, Nev., became the home-away-from-home for thousands of off-road fans and racers in February 2013 when the inaugural Mesquite Off-Road Weekend was held, and now Mesquite Off-Road Weekend officials have announced the second annual festival will take place Feb. 21-23 at the Eureka Casino Resort. More chaos and madness – and fun – are guaranteed to ensue! One ticket provides access to all the weekend’s festivities.

The weekend will feature “Cowboy” Kenny Bartram’s Steel Rodeo as part of the “Beyond Pro” race. Bartram is one of the most decorated FMX superstars in the world, and his Steel Rodeo has performed at events across the globe and annually entertains thousands. He was recently inducted into the Action Sports Hall of Fame and has racked up gold medals in the X Games, world championship victories, Dew Tour wins and once won 13 FMX events in a row and 26 total events in one season.

General admission, VIP and ultimate tickets are available starting at $30 (kids three and under are free while ages 4-12 are $20). Ultimate tickets include access to an exhibition show by the Steel Rodeo on Friday night as well as dinner and a meet-and-greet with Bartram and other pro racers. Competitor’s registration is also now open. Ticket purchases and racer registration are available atwww.MesquiteOffRoad.com.

The racing takes place on the 100-acre track overlooking the Eureka Casino Resort and includes classes for ATV, UTV, SxS and bike competitors. The pro and “Beyond Pro” divisions will feature some of the best EnduroX and FMX riders in the world. The Beyond Pro class is billed as the FMX vs. EnduroX Challenge because the two formats clash in the final race on Saturday night. The new racing format was developed for Mesquite Off-Road Weekend and returns with a few tweaks and other added chaotic elements. Green believes the “Cowboy” will be joined by more of his fellow FMX competitors to race in the Beyond Pro for a purse that will almost double last year’s prize money to $20,000.

New for 2014 will be mud bogs, with several classes and a $5,000 purse on the line for competitors as well as 100 percent payback trophies and bonus money available for superstock, prostock, “MudMod” outlaw and pro-mud. The Mud Bogs will take place Sunday and are open to spectators.
