Frozen Wonderland exhibit at the Children’s Art Museum in St. George

Frozen Wonderland

Written by Greta Hyland

When you hear Frozen Wonderland do you think of the Disney show Frozen? Does that song creep into your head and then stay there all day? Well, the St. George Children’s Museum may have just provided a new way to think of frozen, and another way to get that song stuck in your head – but for a good reason. They have added a seasonal “Frozen Wonderland” to their exhibit of offerings that will last through January 3.

The exhibit includes igloo fort building, ice skating, photo ops with Frozen characters, snowball games, and many more fun-filled activities that will keep you in the holiday spirit. This one is not to be missed.

They will continue with many of the things they are most known for as well. Their annual “Young Inventor” competition will help children maintain their engineering and entrepreneurial skills as they design and create through the holidays. Entries are due January 15 and judged the following day. All inventions must fit through the doors, and no liquids are permitted.

The museum also offers an after school tutoring program, art classes, and special events for all ages. Sessions are available for grade school through middle school aged children at no charge and will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30p.m. – 5:00p.m., at the museum. The museum is located 86 South Main St., next to the Town Square splash pad.
