St. George City Lights Up The Holidays

Bask in the warmth of the holiday season with the Kickoff to Christmas,

Nov. 29 at Historic Town Square

GEORGE— Join the City of St. George as the eye-popping holiday lights of Historic Town Square are unveiled amid free food, music, and a visit from Santa Claus in the annual Kickoff to Christmas, Nov. 29 at 6 PM.

“This is a wonderful tradition recalled fondly by many of our residents over the years,” said Emerson Watanabe, Recreation Manager for the City of St. George. “We are thrilled to again partner with New Country to make this an event to remember.”

In addition to the countdown for the holiday lights, the festivities include:

  • Musical performances by Mikalene Ipson, Brodie Perry, Legacy Elementary, and Dixie Middle School Choirs.
  • An ugly sweater contest. Enter here.
  • Photo opportunities with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus near the Carousel.
  • Free hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies will be available to the first 500 people in attendance.
  • A gingerbread parade will take place along Main Street.
  • The St. George Carousel and St. George Children’s Museum will be open until 8 p.m.

Join Mayor Michele Randall and members of the City Council in singing Silent Night and Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
