Gypsy has the most beautiful, soft white-and-black coat with wonderful markings. She is a “tad” overweight, loves people and to follow you around. She will sit and look at you with bright green eyes and talk and tell you stories of her life and travels. Great personality. Her adoption fee is $40.
Paris
Paris came to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a pretty orange-and-white spotted tabby. Paris came from a home where she had access to a doggie door. Ellie
Ellie is a fun-loving adult female Australian cattle dog mix. She loves people and is good with kids and most other dogs. She can be a little moody from time to time, so her ideal situation would be to be an “only dog” with lots of love and attention. Ellie is medium in size.
River
River is approximately 1 year old with lots of love and energy. She is not good with some other dogs. They think that with the right family and training she could learn as she seems very smart. She is great with adults and kids and even does well with the two puppies that have the kennel next to her.
Freeway

Galaxy
This beautiful girl is Galaxy. She is just about as sweet as they come. When you meet her, you will be hooked. She is a small calico. She is good in a home with other cats and children. She is currently at PetSmart waiting to be the center of your universe.

Jarvis
Jarvis has a special talent. He is not only friendly and fun for people but he also is great at helping shy dogs come out of their shells. Energetic and playful, he’s a great ” adventure” dog. He also settles nicely and is a great cuddle buddy. Although Jarvis does well with all dogs, he can’t live with cats because he has shown aggression toward them in the past. Because Jarvis will jump fences, he must be kept safe and secure. Jarvis was born in 2012. He’s learning lots of new skills at the sanctuary, including walking on a loose leash, waiting for his meals, and crate training. He’s also learning basic training cues such as “sit,”down,” and “paw.” And if you’re looking for a fun, friendly and energetic dog, Jarvis may be your perfect match.
Kiki
Kiki is a friendly, engaging little lady. She loves her toys and has energy to burn. One of her favorite things is playing fetch with people. She walks nicely on leash and sits politely when asked. Kiki loves her walks and does well on car rides. Born in 2014, Kiki came to the sanctuary from a Best Friends Network Partner in Arizona. She has an old injury that’s left her with some incontinence problems, so she takes prescription medication to help keep her healthy. Routine and structure help Kiki have fewer accidents, and she’s not too hard to clean up after. Kiki can be bossy with other dogs at the sanctuary and protective of her beloved toys. She prefers that other dogs leave her alone while she plays. At the sanctuary, she is working on crate training. She’ll do best in an active home where she will have an outlet for her abundant energy.
Lego
Lego came to Best Friends so scared of everyone and everything that he’s featured in the Animals with Special Needs section of our website. But he’s already making tons of progress. Although he is still shy and fearful with new people, once you’ve won him over he is a loving, charming, cuddly and kissy lapdog. Lego was born in 2014, and is so smart that he picks up new training cues with lightning speed. He’s an energetic and fun guy who loves exploring new places and playing fetch. Lego is a little picky with his doggie friends and prefers females. If you’re an active person looking for an adventure buddy, Lego would love to meet you.
Jack
Jack is a cute little guy who likes attention and loves to be petted. Though he was born in 2010, he’s still very active and playful. In fact, he’ll play with just about anything that moves. He likes to sit on laps, but his energy doesn’t allow him to stay long, and he’ll jump down to play again. He tries to make friends with other cats, and usually succeeds with playful ones. Jack is very entertaining and will roll on his back for you. He had a home but lost it when his family lost their home. He’d love to have one again. Could you use some cute entertainment?
Katze
Katze loves people, and getting and giving affection. She also loves toys and food! She’s comfortable with other cats but doesn’t single out friends. Born in 2015, she came from a hoarding situation. She adjusted to life at the sanctuary really well. Katze is just about the purrfect cat, and she’d do well in any home.
Lil Baby
A hit-and-run, a bad leg, a neurological condition, and losing the one person who seemed to love her even after her injuries? Lil Baby has seen it all. A kind person had found her already broken and sad, but they lifted her spirits. But when they moved into a new, smaller apartment, Lil Baby couldn’t go.No wonder this poor thing is now so shy around people. She needs a super-compassionate person, preferably one with a few cats already, to help ease her out of her lonely little world.Right now, Lil Baby is much more comfortable around other cats. That’s about the only time she feels safe enough to let her hair down. If you think you might be able to give Lil Baby the time she needs to adjust, and not lose faith in her, please consider adopting this shy girl today!

Chuck
Chuck is a happy, loving boy who wants to be with his human all the time, be it walking, on your lap, or sleeping. He is constantly tracking your location because he just wants to be near you. Chuck is approximately 4 years old and was surrendered when his human became sick and unable to care for him. He’s a great little walker and is curious about his surroundings. Chuck seems to play well with other dogs close to his size but can be aggressive with larger dogs. A potential adopter who owns other dogs should arrange a meeting between Chuck and their dog to determine compatibility. Chuck should be in an adult-only home. He does not have the patience to deal with children. Chuck would do best with an owner experienced with opinionated dogs. To welcome Chuck into your family, contact Aggie (435) 773-1667 or Sue at (801) 554-3378. Chuck’s adoption fee is $125.
Chico
Chico is approximately 3 years old and came to BAM with his buddy Pepe. He is very loving with his people and is just waiting for the right family so he can share his love and cute personality. His adoption fee is $125. To meet Chico, contact Ryan at (435) 680-6666.
Pebbles
Pebbles is a sweet little dog with a lot of love to give. A small dog with a big personality, Pebbles is about 4 years old but hasn’t had much contact with people so is quite cautious when meeting new people and takes some time to get comfortable. However, once he gets to know you, he is warm and loving with his favorite place being in the arms of his person. Very playful with other small dogs, he walks well on a leash while displaying typical “small dog bark bigger than his bite” attitude. To welcome Pebbles into your family, call Phyllis at (435) 862-2207. His adoption fee is $125.
Timothy
Timothy is a dwarf Hotot bunny and is so sweet and easy to care for. He is potty trained (for the most part), using a corner litter box with compressed paper pellets. He loves fruit treats and hay and eats regular pelleted rabbit food. Timothy’s favorites outside of his normal diet are carrots, blueberries, papaya, and strawberries. While Timothy hasn’t been handled a lot, he is very curious and friendly and gets downright chill when he’s turned into a bunny burrito … that means when he is wrapped in a blanket or towel. This method would make even trimming his nails a breeze. To find out more about Timothy or to arrange to meet him, call Jean at (435) 229-4674. Timothy’s adoption fee (including cage) is $50. Timothy is also microchipped.

Bandit
Freckle-faced Bandit is sure to steal your heart away! This beautiful boy came to the shelter because his owners were moving and could not take him with them. Bandit was very frightened when he first came here, but with a bit of time and patience and a lot of love, he is doing great now. They were told he is a blend of Australian shepherd, border collie, heeler, and probably a few other things mixed in for good measure. Medium-sized Bandit is about 4 years old. He is house trained, absolutely loves camping, and especially adores being petted. Bandit just wants to be right next to you and will happily roll over for belly rubs. Bandit is super sweet and extra cuddly. However, they were told that he does not do well with little kids or other dogs. They aren’t sure how he is with cats. Bandit is a wonderful dog who is looking for his fur-ever home where he will truly be loved and cherished always.
Dolly
Well, hello, Dolly! This sweet, brindle and white pittie mix is all about kisses, love, and play! Dolly came to the shelter as a stray, so her history is a mystery. Finnegan
Little Finnegan is actually a FinneGAL! This petite sweetheart is such a treasure. She just adores being petted! Finnegan will purr and make biscuits while you pet her. They aren’t sure how she is with dogs, but she seems very curious about the other kitties at the shelter.
Tiger
