Dexter
Check out the never-ending cuteness of adoptable Dexter. Dexter is just starting to get his adult teeth and is, of course, chewing on everything (put your shoes away!). He’s just the sweetest little guy. Loves to play with other dogs, loves to cuddle, loves the water, wants to sleep on his foster mom’s bed. They are taking applications on him now. To meet Dexter, call Julie at (435) 229-5703. His adoption fee is $150.
Trio
Trio is a sweet, about 5-year-old German Shepherd blend who is really a relaxed, happy dog. She likes walks, car rides, stuffed toys, bones, people. She’s a typical GSD and can be aloof until she gets to know you. She was seen being put out of a car in California and tied to a pipe. The car drove away and did not return even though folks waited for hours for them. Trio was taken to a shelter where, because of her crippled leg and because the shelter staff said she was a senior, she was facing death. BAM pulled her and they got her to a vet. X-rays reveal no break in her leg but an old injury that caused nerve damage and now she is unable to use her left leg much and is unable to straighten it out. The vet determined amputation would not be necessary. Trio is a gorgeous, well-behaved (except for pulling a bit on the leash which can be easily corrected with training) dog. They have not seen her with children but she has not demonstrated any behavior that would cause us concern around respectful children. To meet her call J at (435) 773-5209. Her adoption fee is $125.
Riley
Best buddy, companion extraordinaire, Velcro pal, cuddler, lover: all describe Riley. She is an absolutely wonderful dog who loves nothing more than to be with the people she loves. Oh, and, of course, play ball. Riley will sit and look at you adoringly as long as you want her to. This is the dog that, in a snowstorm, will lie by your side and keep you warm until help comes. Or, if there is no snow storm, crawl up on the couch beside you and help you watch TV. She likes long walks, would make a good jogging partner or hiking pal. She gets along with other dogs but can be a little possessive of toys, food and attention so would do best as the only dog and prefers a home without cats or other small animals. To meet Riley call (435) 773-5209. Her adoption fee is $125.
Jon Bon Jovi
Jon has never-ending happy tail wag, loves to go for short walks, loves lap sitting and playing. He gets along with other dogs but would prefer dogs his own size or dogs that don’t play too rough. Jon is a volunteer favorite because of his happy attitude and is believed to be approximately 5 years old. Oh, did we mention that Jon love to talk–not bark. Although he can and will bark, he just loves to talk to the people around him. It’s very endearing. He is a wonderful little dog who loves interacting with his person. He’d make a great pet for adults or respectful children. Jon would not be able to physically hold his own with rambunctious children or toddlers, Jon suffered some pretty severe medical neglect at one time in his life. He had two broken rear legs and a broken pelvis. All have healed at this point but they healed without medical intervention. Jon’s left rear leg looks awful but causes him no pain and amputation is not recommended as he does use it occasionally for balance and it helps, on occasion, to support his other healed leg. Jon does not require any additional medical care for his past injuries but the vet does caution that he should be kept on the slim side and not be allowed to gain weight. His adoption fee is $125. To meet Jon, call (435) 773-5209.
Sabrina
After being hit by a car, little Sabrina spent 8 weeks in a cast while her bones healed. She’s 10 years old but loves to adventure by car, trail, or river. Snuggles are her favorite, but she’s not a couch potato. Sabrina lives with several big dogs and enjoys their company. Never once have they heard her bark. Sabrina would be great in any home but, even with her cast off, she will still need tender care until her bones are strong. Sabrina does require daily medication for an enlarged heart but nothing stops this little dog from living life to its fullest. They are still working on house training, but the process is slow due to her broken bones. Sabrina sleeps through the night without urinating and does not urinate on the carpet but will on tile. Her cast may be at fault, and now with it removed, she’ll be more agile and move more easily. To meet Sabrina or find out more about her, contact Andrea or A.J. at (612) 756-2374. Sabrina’s adoption fee is $100 and she is also eligible for their Seniors Helping Seniors Program.

Toby
Toby was transferred to RSQ DOGS+ from Brigham City. He is an energetic boy and very sweet and good with children. He is great with other dogs and does well on a leash too. This wonderful boy is looking for a family of his own that can teach him human manners.
Theodore
Theodore, is RSQ DOGS+ little Teddy bear, and has been with them for almost 2 months. While he loves playing with all the other dogs at the center, what he really wants is a place to call home. He gets along really well with children and does well walking on a leash with his big dog pals. A loving, active home would perfectly fit the bill for this adorable, fluffy pup.
Skylar
When Skylar came to RSQ dogs she was very shy and fearful. In just a short time she has become friendly, playful, and a favorite to take on outings. She gets along with big dogs as well as puppies and enjoys being around children. She will need a high, securely fenced yard. A kind, loving, active family would be the perfect choice for this sweet girl.
Lure
Lure is an absolutely STUNNING charcoal Black Tortie kitten. She is approximately 3 months old. She is very playful, healthy and fun. Lure came to RSQ dogs+ with two 3-pronged fishing hooks embedded in her skin. But she is all healed up now, fully vetted and ready to start her new life. Let them know if you would like to meet the beautiful Lure.

Bodin
Bodin is a beautiful boy who would like nothing more than to have a comfy couch to sleep on for the rest of his life. Born in 2006, he was rescued from a hoarding situation. He is shy and fearful with new people, and it takes him a while to trust someone enough to allow handling. However, once he warms up, he is very loyal and loving. Bodin guards food and other resources and will bite if someone reaches for an object or food he is guarding or if someone tries to get in between him and his treasure. Because of this tendency, he will need to find a home with an understanding and dog savvy person. He also takes regular medication for age-related back pain. Potential adopters would need to come to the Sanctuary to get to know Bodin for one week to build a relationship with him and to make sure that everyone is comfortable with each other. Other than that, he doesn’t ask for much these days. He just wants to be adored and to adore someone back.
Sherman
Sherman is a big love who is friendly with every person he meets. A playful boy, he has a great time frolicking and playing with toys and is always excited to go on an adventure with you. Sherman is a little bit picky about his doggy friends, but with the right introduction, he may be able to have a canine pal. Currently, Sherman is on medication and a weight loss plan for hypothyroidism. But once he’s done “working out,? he’d love to cuddle with you. Sherman is part of our Single Pets* program! That means that he is eligible for a free flight home and waived adoption fee! *Single pets do best as the only dog or cat in the home.
Tarlton
Tarlton had a rough life before he came to Best Friends. He was named for the construction yard where he was found. Perhaps because of something in his rugged past, he shows some guard dog behavior. He needs a slow introduction to new people, but once he gets to know them, Tarlton becomes the most affectionate dog. He loves to give slobbery kisses and to climb in people’s laps, even though he really doesn’t fit. Tarlton was born in 2006 and is on a special diet for allergies. He knows tricks like roll over, twirl, and crawl. He’s a world-class cuddler and bed-hog, though he also enjoys long walks. Tarlton will make an amazing friend for a dog-savvy person who can give him a little guidance. He’s a sensitive guy who craves love, and he can’t wait to give his heart to someone special. Tarlton is part of Best Friends Single Pets* program! That means that he is eligible for a free flight home and waived adoption fee! *Single pets do best as the only dog or cat in the home.
Camando
When he’s not playing with other cats, Comando is keeping a close eye on the birds and lizards outside. Ahh, the elaborate plans that must be running ’round his head! This handsome cat is shy around people, but will sometimes let you pet and comb his long hair. So if he could find a home with a kind, patient person, he may warm up. In the meantime, he adores other cats and would be a great companion to your cats. Born in 2005, Camando is in good health. But he came from a terrible situation of hoarding and neglect in Pahrump, Nevada. If you’d like to change a deserving cat’s life, Camando is ready to capture your heart!
Calista
With a fondness for sunshine, warm breezes, and water fountains, comely Calista is a flower waiting to bloom. The calico domestic longhair lost her home when her family couldn’t care for her anymore. And though she is shy around people, with patience, she opens up. Calista is also a bit bashful at first with other pets she’s not interested in being at the center of their action but she gets along just fine with her feline roommates. Born in 2009, she’s in great health, mellow, and laidback. She’s a sweet and independent soul who adapts well.
Monty
Monty is a handsome guy with striking eyes. He is sweet and friendly. He enjoys being brushed and likes to play with toys, especially dangling toys. He was born in 2010 and came from an animal shelter in California. We don’t know why, but Monty only has three-quarters of a tail. This handsome guy would love to come home with you so you can brush him and play with him. Monty is a Caturtle, also known as a shy cat who comes out of their shell in a home. Caturtles are free to adopt and can fly to their new homes for free anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.
