Frontier Homestead State Park Museum and the Frontier Homestead Museum Foundation are pleased to announce the first annual Old Town Market as part of Iron Mission Days in Cedar City, Utah. The event will take place November 7 and 8, 2025, and will feature original art, food, and traditional craft demonstrations that celebrate the diverse heritage of Southern Utah.
Iron Mission Days has long been a staple in honoring Cedar City’s history each November. Over the years, the event has evolved to reflect community preferences and to align with Cedar City’s birthday festivities. This year, the spotlight is on heritage arts vendors and demonstrations with the addition of the Old Town Market.

“We’ve been testing this idea for the last few years,” said Giani Julander, Park Manager. “A couple of years ago, we invited heritage art vendors to the Iron Mission Days event, not knowing what the response would be. Overall, the visitors and the vendors had a good experience. This year we hope to expand on our success and offer an exceptional experience to the community and all our patrons.”
Vendor applications are now being accepted. All interested artists, crafters, and food vendors can request an application by emailing frontierhomestead@utah.gov.

Thanks to the generous support of Visit Cedar City/Brian Head, marketing and advertising for the event will be expanded to reach a wider audience.
The Frontier Homestead Museum Foundation looks forward to welcoming a diverse, high-quality market and thanks its exhibiting artists and vendors in advance for helping bring the arts in all their forms to the residents of Iron County and beyond.
