Kanab 10K Returns on Mother’s Day Weekend 2025

Mark your calendars! The Kanab 10K is back on Saturday, May 10th, 2025! This scenic 6.2-mile race begins at 7 AM at the historic Moqui Cave, winding alongside Kanab Creek and the stunning Vermillion Cliffs on Highway 89. Due to positive feedback, the Kanab Center will once again serve as the finish line, no more uphill climb at the end! Walkers and runners must complete the first five miles within two hours, and strollers are welcome on the course.
Registration is now open at RunnerCard.com. The entry fee is $35 for adults and $25 for participants 17 & under, which includes a race t-shirt, swag bag, and custom bib. Packet pickup will be available on Friday, May 9th, from 12 PM to 6 PM at the Kanab City Offices (26 N 100 E). Late registration will also be available during this time. On race morning, packets can be picked up at the Kanab Center starting at 6 AM. All participants must be at the Kanab Center’s front entrance parking lot by 6:30 AM to take the shuttle to the starting line.
Custom Western Hills trophies will be awarded to the overall male and female winners, as well as the top finishers in each age division. After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy a complimentary breakfast provided by Kanab City.
Please note that to accommodate the race, Highway 89 will be restricted to one-way traffic from 300 N. to Moqui Cave on May 7th, between 6:30 and 9 AM. Expect delays, and be aware that the south entrance to Best Friends will be closed from 7 to 8 AM, so plan accordingly.
