Kanab Outdoor Market Revived to Wednesdays at Kanab Center
Kanab Arts Council, in coordination with volunteer community members, has announced that the Kanab Outdoor Market resumed Wednesday, June 2, 2021. This year it will take place each week from 5 to 8 pm, and it will be at the “Terrace” at the Kanab Center, located at 20 North 100 East at “the bend” right in the middle of Kanab.
Highlights will include local vendors of many types, including locally grown produce and hand-crafted goods, as well as wellness products, jewelry, and more. It will also feature live music from over a dozen local and regional performers, as it’s scheduled to continue weekly through September 8.
Kanab Outdoor Market has taken many forms over the years including 2019 when the Kanab Arts Council inherited it from community members who had run it the prior two years at the Comfort Suites. Before that a version existed behind the Kane County Visitor’s Bureau building. The latest incarnation is a coordinated effort between Loretta Clayson, who is overseeing the vendors, and the Arts Council, which is arranging for the live music, as well as other volunteers helping in other capacities.
