Kolob Gallery, 111 S Main Street, Suite 1, spotlights local guest artist Jana Lee Cherry with a month-long exhibition running October 1 through October 31. Cherry, a Cedar City–based watercolorist, returned to Southern Utah after decades away, where she and her husband, Phil, are raising their family. The daughter of renowned watercolorist and landscape painter Roland Lee, she grew up surrounded by art, began creating her own work in 2020, and committed to an earnest study of water media in 2023.

Cherry’s practice is shaped by people and stories, influenced by her religious faith, a career in mental health, and life as a mother. She enjoys exploring the dynamic nature of watercolor through portraiture, still life, and landscape. Follow her art journey on Instagram at @janaleecherryart.

Kolob Gallery also features ten additional local artists working across abstracts, landscapes, and still lifes in oils, pastels, and watercolors. The gallery shares space with The Art Center, which offers professional framing, printing, and heirloom preservation services, making it an easy stop whether visitors are viewing, purchasing, or preparing artwork for display.

Plan a visit to see Cherry’s work alongside the broader collection and consider adding a unique, original piece to your home or office. Kolob Gallery and The Art Center are open Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM. For details, call 435-586-1414 or visit cedarartcenter.com.
