Located at 111 S. Main Street in Cedar City, Kolob Gallery continues its mission of showcasing local and regional artists with a full slate of winter programming, including a featured guest artist for January and a festive Valentine’s open house in early February.

Throughout the month of January, visitors are invited to view the work of guest artist Pam Johnston. Johnston works across multiple mediums, including oils, watercolors, pencils, and pen and ink. Her artwork focuses primarily on people and animals, offering an intimate and expressive look at familiar subjects through varied techniques.

Kolob Gallery also provides opportunities to see art created in real time. Local artist Brad Holt paints in the gallery every Saturday afternoon, giving visitors a chance to watch the creative process unfold and engage with an artist at work in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Looking ahead, Kolob Gallery will host its annual “Pretty in Pink” Valentine’s open house and sale on Saturday, February 7, from 6 to 8 PM. The event celebrates Valentine’s season with an evening of art, community, and creativity. The gallery features a range of oil paintings, watercolors, and pastel artwork by local artists, offering visitors a chance to experience the depth and variety of Cedar City’s art community.

Kolob Gallery invites the public to stop in during January to explore current exhibits, watch live painting on Saturdays, and mark their calendars for the “Pretty in Pink” Valentine’s event in February. With its focus on local artists and community connection, the gallery continues to be a gathering place where local art and local heart come together.
