Whether you’ve played Bunco before or think it’s a funny name for Liar’s Poker, you’re in for a treat either way. It’s a game of luck, team-building, a chance to meet new people, a fun and exciting way to get lucky and make some green, and just plain crazy fun!
The CasaBlanca, Mesquite’s premier resort, is hosting another Bunco tournament Nov. 1 for anyone who wants to learn or already knows how to play. After reading a short paragraph on how to play Bunco, I’m convinced it’s a game of luck similar to Bingo, but more interactive. You get to roll three dice, win or lose with each roll, and eventually score the most points as a team or individual. What’s better than that? Win one for the team, and win one for yourself too!
CasaBlanca’s last Bunco tournament was two years ago. Due to popular demand, it’s back and more lucrative than ever! People travel hundreds of miles to stay and play in this event. Locals and visitors can book a room, enjoy a delicious buffet, party ‘til the sun comes up, and play in the Bunco tournament for as little as $99 per person. If you just want to play, it’s only $79 and includes the buffet. During this four-hour event, participants will be drawn randomly for prizes ranging including two-night stays, free golf, dinner for two, spa treatments, and much more.
Plus, if your team wins the overall winner spot, each player wins $100 cash. There are individual prizes of $100 for the most Buncos on your team, $50 for the most individual mini-Buncos on your team, and $40 for the most Bunco wins on your team. Total cash and prizes add up to a whopping $5,000. That’s no bunk!
