Letter to the editor: Support for Marsha Holland
This November, you can take part in our democracy by making your way to the polls. Participation in this upcoming election is vital for all of us locally and nationally, and we encourage everyone to come out and vote.
If you live in District 73, please consider Marsha Holland to be your next representative. Marsha is a longtime resident of Tropic in Garfield County and is an unaffiliated candidate for the Utah State Legislature. In our view, she is the most qualified candidate for the position. Marsha is an advocate for education, healthcare, and small businesses. Most importantly, she represents values we align with.
Furthermore, she is committed to bringing people together from differing positions on the political spectrum to build bridges in and between our communities. If she is elected, this commitment will carry through and help us address the many challenges our district is facing. Please visit Marsha’s website at marshaholland2018.com to see examples of the honesty, integrity, and accountability she stands for.
If you are looking for positive change, then please join us and help elect Marsha Holland to represent all of us in House District 73.
Sincerely,
Megan and Latimer Smith
Kanab

I went to vote.utah.gov to learn about the candidates and see if one or the other best suited my views on the issues affecting District 73. Marsha Holland’s profile is well-written and conveys an understanding of the issues and a willingness to work hard for our District. Phil Lyman’s profile;
“No profile has been submitted for this candidate”
I guess Mr. Lyman doesn’t feel his constituents need to know what he stands for because his interests are elsewhere. Pretty obvious who gets my vote!
