The Casablanca Hotel and Casino in Mesquite continues to deliver powerhouse events. The popularity of cage fighting has found a welcoming and growing fan base in the region. Mesquite’s proximity to both Las Vegas and St. George has proven to be a superb location, resulting in Casablanca hosting the return of TuffNUff’s Mayhem in Mesquite on Saturday, Aug. 22. The arena was packed with fans, and the cage was bursting with action for the event.
The weekend action began Friday night, Aug. 21, with the fighter weigh-ins, a ring girl competition, and a free concert performed by Rebel Soul. Saturday evening kicked off with a beer tasting and more music as the arena began to fill up. By fight time, the music was cranking and fans were ready to be entertained.
Excitement filled the arena as the announcer entered the cage to kick the fights off. Justin Alan, lead vocalist for Sin City Sinners, sang an amazing rendition of the National Anthem. All the hype became real as Mayhem in Mesquite VII delivered.
Following the fights, the after party got underway in the Casablanca showroom. Sin City Sinners performed a concert that kept people enjoying the night well into the early morning hours. The high-energy show had concert goers rocking out, dancing, and partying with great music and friends.
It appears Mayhem in Mesquite is a sure bet, with next year’s event already scheduled for March 2016. No doubt, Casablanca will once again surround the event with plenty of weekend fun.
