Mesquite Community Theatre seeks volunteer ushers
By Nancy Arnold
The Mesquite Community Theatre, in conjunction with the Virgin Valley Theatre Group, is looking for volunteers for the upcoming 2019–20 theater season.
The Mesquite Community Theatre performs musicals, mysteries, and melodramas lined up along with other great events already calendared. In order to provide patrons with a professional and safe theatrical experience, the group needs ushers. This is a great way to get involved in the community, meet new people, learn more about the theater, and see a great show for free. This call for volunteers is open to all who are interested, including high school students, who students will need parental permission in order to participate.
The group scheduled an usher orientation meeting Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. at the Mesquite Community Theatre, located at 150 N Yucca St. in Mesquite. Light refreshments will be served, and attendees will be able to tour of the theater with a brief overview of the Mesquite Community Theatre usher program.
For more information, call (907) 350-6114, (702) 613-4030, or (928) 716-6022.
