As people visit Zion National Park, they often wonder if those of us that live here in Springdale realize the beauty that surrounds us everyday. They often think we take it for granted. When asked if this is the case, I respond that I do not take it for granted.
Zion National Park is alive and continues to show new things daily. One of the things that I love so much about living in Springdale is the gorgeous night skies. Growing up here, I felt I could reach up and grab any of the stars overhead because they seemed like they were so close. The night photography in Zion is incredible.
Obviously besides the nighttime wonders, there are many other things to enjoy both inside the park and outside of it; we only need to take advantage of them. Hopefully we aren’t in such a hurry to get to the next stop that we miss all the beauty that surrounds us.
