…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM WEDNESDAY TO 6 AM
MDT FRIDAY…
* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 17
inches, with locally higher amounts up to 2 feet near Boulder
Mountain.
* WHERE…Wasatch Plateau/Book Cliffs, Central Mountains and
Southern Mountains. Southeast facing aspects will see the
greatest accumulations.
* WHEN…From 6 PM Wednesday to 6 AM MDT Friday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Travel could be very difficult,
particularly over higher elevation routes. Some common routes
that could see difficult travel conditions include SR-14, US-89
between Hillsdale and Glendale, SR-12, I-70, US-6 and US-191.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
