NATURAL WONDERS ABOUND AT AMAZING EARTHFEST
For the seventh year running, scenic Kanab will host the annual Amazing Earthfest, a public festival celebrating life, learning, experience, adventure arts and entertainment – as well as the national and state parks, national forests, monuments and public lands of the Colorado Plateau. This weeklong event takes place May 12-18.
Community volunteers from Kanab and Kane County warmly welcome residents and visitors from all corners to participate in this wonderful festival of events, numbering nearly 150 activities over seven days. Most Amazing Earthfest events are free, and participation helps people better understand and appreciate the wonders of nature and the living systems that support our quality of life. There will be more than 50 indoor activities, including expert lectures, cultural performances and films. Outdoor events will include guided hikes, ATV and horseback rides, night sky viewing, photography tours and much more! There will also be performances from Symphony of the Canyons and renowned Navajo pianist Connor Chee.
