Never-Before-Seen Ansel Adams Prints, Works by Minerva Teichert Featured At Upcoming St. George Art Museum Gala

The St. George Art Museum invites art lovers and fun lovers alike to step out for a spectacular evening on March 5 as the museum celebrates 34 years of art and culture in historic downtown St. George at the Western Revival Gala and Art Auction. The event will take place from 6-8 PM at the St. George Art Museum, located at 47 E. 200 North in St. George. The gala will be held in the Matt Clark Sculpture Garden area of the museum.
Offering up a night of incredible art on display, great food, and lots of fun, the gala will feature a live auction and an exclusive opportunity to view “Western Odyssey: Visions of the Frontier,” an exhibit featuring rare and never-before-seen prints by Ansel Adams and Edward S. Curtis, as well as watercolors by Minerva Teichert. A preview of art pieces to be auctioned, as well as a photography exhibit showcasing Mo Atkin’s works, will begin prior to the gala at 5 p.m. Auction items will include pieces by Harry Bertoia, Erin Hanson, and Mark Rane.
The gala will include dinner provided by Big Lud’s BBQ, a cash bar with wine and beer selections from The Hive, and line dancing with Eric Dodge. There will also be a Western-themed photo booth where attendees can commemorate the night with a take-home keepsake, so come dressed in your best Western gear for your photo op!
