As the year winds down, there are some exciting shows coming to Kolob Gallery in Cedar City. On November 8, from 5 to 7 PM, the gallery will open an exhibit of spiritual art entitled Give My Soul Some Light.
Guest artist Lori Ransom will exhibit her work throughout the month of November. Lori is an adjunct professor of art at SUU. Describing her creative process, she explains that it is deeply rooted in the earthy peace of botanical elements—leaves, branches, flowers, and organic textures often make their way into her imagery as metaphors for growth, renewal, and the rhythms of life.
Finally, on December 4, from 5 to 7 PM, Kolob Gallery will host its annual Miniatures Show. Visitors are encouraged to stop by throughout November and register to win a watercolor by Debbie Robb, which will be given away at the December opening.
Kolob Gallery and The Art Center are located at 111 S. Main Street in Cedar City. During this season, the artists and staff would like to express gratitude for what has been a wonderful year and to offer special thanks to their families, friends, and patrons for all their support.
