Opinion and cartoon on liberals

Pursuant to my attached cartoon, I do not believe that all Islamic people are really thinking the same thing, i.e., Death to Israel and America. But since there are 1 billion Islamic people in  the world, how can anyone be certain what a part or most of them are thinking? (However, if only 1% of those 1 billion are radical fanatics, that is three times the population of America. Just a thought.)

I’ve noticed that when some kook claims God told him to kill a doctor who performs abortions, Christians everywhere denounce the murder. But I’ve never heard any Islamic person denounce things like be-headings on YouTube or anywhere else. Wait a moment… I do remember two Islamic people who denounced such things once. Both were females. Brave females. Maybe I simply missed all the other Islamic people who denounce such things.

I was watching the “news” once and saw a disciple of Louie Farrakhan ranting about “the mother (space) ship hovering in outer space just outside Earth’s atmosphere, awaiting the signal to pick up all Earth’s black people,” so the destruction of the rest of us white (devils) could begin. The guy was obviously certifiable. When the two talking heads came back on screen, it was obvious the rant was intended to be edited out of the broadcast, but someone had failed to do so. The talking heads were wide-eyed and speechless. They both stared at each other for a few moments until one of them stammered an “explanation” about the ranter being obviously unhinged.

The point is that the stuff the “unhinged” guy had shouted was exactly what Louie himself believes. But the media will never broadcast any such thing coming out of Louie’s mouth. It would expose his lunacy and destroy the credibility of the same media who has, for years, ignored such aspects of the Farrakhan fellows.

Last night, I was again watching the “news” when I learned about another group in “denial” of a certain historic fact. The fact this group of “deniers” denies is on the same order of craziness magnitude as the Farrakhan Mothership. Apparently, some Muslims deny the Jewish Temple, which stood on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem for centuries, was actually ever there. It has all been another “Jewish lie.” Who knew?

The temple was originally constructed by David’s son, Solomon. It was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar in 583 B.C. (or was it 587?) It was rebuilt on a more modest scale by Jews returning from the Babylonian captivity about 70 years later. It was refurbished by Herod the Great during the earthly tenure of Jesus. It was again destroyed in 70 A.D., when the fun-loving soldiers of the Tenth Legion, under Titus, got out of hand.

The place is an archeologist’s dream, but almost no digging has been done there because of the respect the Israeli government has for the Muslim custodians of the Temple Mount. One may walk around in tunnels beneath the temple site and observe the monstrous foundation stones originally laid by Solomon. They are much too large to move.

In other words, there is an enormous amount of physical evidence that Solomon’s temple did exist. We aren’t even counting the external evidence of the temple’s existence in myriad historical documents. Very reliable historical documents. Even absolutely reliable historical documents, such as the Bible.

So, it came as a shock to me that many Islamic people deny the temple ever existed. Included among these was Yassir Arafat. (Why was I not surprised?) The news clip I watched included a (quite unintentionally) humorous conversation between Arafat and Bill Clinton, wherein Clinton took exception to the silly notion, because that would cast doubt on Clinton’s own Christian faith because the Bible is full of references to the temple. I think Clinton made specific reference to the fact Jesus had so often frequented the temple. Bill seemed genuinely troubled by the implications of Arafat’s temple denial. As noted, hearing Bill practicing his own version of Biblical apologetics was fun.

Temple denial is exactly the sort of thing Big Media will avoid covering, because it exposes the craziness of its adherents. It also exposes the probability that the adherents are way off base on everything else they espouse, like their fanatical desire to destroy all Jews in Israel and the world. And to do so exposes the stupidity of Hollywood weirdo/dummies who excoriate Israel’s self defense in Gaza. (You know who you are, Penelope Cruz, you widely recognized enlightened scholar of Middle Eastern history, you.)

Anyway, I doubt all Muslims all over the world are actually thinking the same thing. Maybe only in Gaza. And maybe the White House.
