Parowan City is excited to announce that it will be giving away a building in Parowan as an economic incentive tool. Parowan will be selling this building, known locally as the Rufus Building, for $1 to the business or idea that Parowan City Council deems the best and most beneficial to the building, city, and community.
In a press release, Parowan City officials have said they are looking forward to reviewing many excellent proposals to see the Rufus Building put to good use. While small and in need of some work, the building is centrally located near the corner of Center and Main Street in Parowan.
Interested parties should submit an idea, business plan, or prospectus in person to the Parowan City office, located at 5 S. Main in Parowan or mail it to Shayne Scott, P.O. Box 576, Parowan, Utah 84761.
