Levisouthern utah adoptable pets Levi

Stunning eyes and a stunning personality to match, Levi is smart, handsome, and loves his people. Not only has he mastered all of his basic commands studying at a prison-based training program, he also passed his Canine Life and Social Skills Class with flying colors. This clever boy is always looking for a new game to play and has a little bit of a mischievous streak as well… just make sure you don’t leave your treat pouch unattended around him!

Levi is looking for a person who will take him on adventures and continue to teach him new tricks. In return, he promises to offer all his love and be a loyal friend.

Magpie

Magpie is an eight-year-old sweetheart. Her favorite pastime is supervising volunteers doing laundry in Dogtown Admissions. She also loves going on outings and sleepovers, here at the sanctuary. Magpie gets along with other low-energy dogs, and should go to a home with adults only and no small animals.

If you are interested in meeting this beautiful girl, reach out to one of our adoption specialists today!

Rusty

You will never meet a dog quite like Rusty! He is soft and cuddly, but don’t ever let him hear you say that because when you first meet him he will pretend not to like you and act as tough as he can. In reality, he is a very insecure dog who puts on a front to keep people away. It takes time, but once you gain his trust he becomes sweet and full of personality.
He will always have a strong personality and think he is the king of the castle so he would need someone with very good dog skills and who can understand him. It is a long process, but so worth the journey!

He can live with other dogs but is very selective about who he shares his home with and would likely have to live in a managed home of some kind. He does require relationship building and multiple visits so he would need a patient and understanding person. Don’t let all this fool you because beneath his tough guy exterior lies a sweet, silly little guy, that once he lets his guard down, would make a great companion!

Pepe

This black beauty came to us in 2017 as a stray. Pepe loves harness and stroller walks, playing with wand toys, and snuggling with his caregivers and feline roommates. Everyone that meets him falls instantly in love and he is one of our top sleepover cats.

Pepe does come with some challenges, he has all the signs of a tail pull injury which makes him incontinent and requires him to be expressed twice a day. But don’t let that scare you, he is on medication to help with that, and the best part is, we can teach you how to express him so you don’t miss out on this wonderful ball of fur.

Could you be that person that is willing to take a chance on this one-of-a-kind, lovable fella?

Lizzie

Lizzie is a friendly girl looking for a heart to win. Her ideal home would have plenty of love to give, lots of comfy beds to sleep on, and wouldn’t mind giving her rides on their shoulders from time to time. Lizzie can coexist well with other cats, though she wouldn’t mind all of your attention to herself either. This girl is the ideal blend of affectionate and independent – every kitty lover’s dream! Contact our adoption team today if you think Lizzie could be your perfect match.

Aladdinsouthern utah adoptable pets Aladdin

Aladdin is a calm and happy kitty and enjoys the company of other cats. He will occasionally let you pet him. He seems curious when other cats are being petted and he is coming around to people slowly. He’ll sometimes join in when the others are playing with a fishing pole toy, and he likes treats. This handsome boy is looking for a person who has the patience to let him blossom into the adorable, joyful cat he truly is!

Lily

Hi, I’m a 5-year-old single white female named Lily. I’m a little on the chubby side. I’m seeking an adult companion for life. I’m the real deal and looking for a commitment. I like to take things slow. I’m a foodie, I love helping in the kitchen, I like other dogs I like my toys, kids you say, NO! they stress me out. I’m housebroken but, if it’s cold or rainy outside you will have to convince me to go out. I’m working on learning how to use the doggie door. Once we get to know each other you will see what a fun-loving partner I can be.

Teddy

Hi, my name is Teddy, I’m an 8-year-old male chihuahua mix. Do you want your kids to grow up with all their toes and fingers? Then I’m not the dog for you! Some dogs love kids. I however am not one of them. Honestly, I’m a little iffy with some adults. Not in an eat them sort of way but this makes me nervous sort of way. New people and things scare me. With a home environment full of love and patience I can become quite a loving friend. I’m housebroken, (learning the doggie door). After getting to know you I will become very loyal, affectionate, and friendly. I do like other doggy friends. So, let’s face it: Unless you’re looking for a dog that’s a little bit of work, I’m not the dog for you. I am a little rough around the edges. Sometimes a jerk, but I’m a jerk that my foster believes in. If you love a challenge and are looking for the dog of a lifetime and think you can handle me being a bit of a grouch, apply now to adopt me. Thanks, Teddy.

Holly, Tinsel, and Sally Munson

Tinsel
Holly
Sally Munson

These adorable sisters – Holly and Tinsel, are young cats who enjoy romping around and they will make your house glitter and sparkle. They are the purr-fect age for you to enjoy as their personalities unfold. Tinsel and Holly have remained bonded with their mother, Sally Munson, which is unusual at this age. That doesn’t prevent her from being a loving and playful cat. She’s been a good mama to her kittens – Holly and Tinsel – and is now ready to be pampered and spoiled. Sally and her two kittens can often be found cuddling together and grooming each other.  What a perfect adoptable trio!  They deserve a wonderful, loving, furever home.

He’d make the perfect companion for someone looking for an active lifestyle, and at the end of the day, he makes the perfect cuddle buddy. We found him as a stray and would love to help him find his perfect home.

Dusty says “I’m looking forward to finding a lifelong home with people who love and respect me for who I am. In my new home, I’ll love you like no other.”

Annie

Annie is a young German Shepard that was found as a stray. She’s a happy dog, always ready for a pet and playtime. She is very confident, she knows what life is all about. Annie will need a family or forever home that is aware of her need for exercising and for training. She needs a very active household with older kids she can’t accidentally knock over. We hate to tell her that she’s still a puppy and she has a lot more life lessons to learn. Annie will blossom with training, plenty of exercise, and loving supervision.

Amy

Amy was found as a stray trying to get into someone’s home. No one has come to claim her so she is looking for a new home. She enjoys being petted, held, and watching out the windows. She is fascinated with the TV in the room and will sit and watch the activity on the screen she also likes playing with the long tunnel toy. She will come when called and loves attention, gives head butts, and purrs constantly.

Jordan

Jordan has all the typical ailments of an elderly dog. He’s got arthritis in his hips, cannot hear very well, and needs a night light to find his way around when it’s dark.
What Jordan doesn’t have is a fur-ever home or a long-term foster home where he will be loved and cared for until his time on earth is completed. Please give this special senior a chance.
This terrier blend is estimated to be around 15 years old. Jordan gets around pretty well. He weighs about 50 pounds and does well on a leash. Jordan is potty-trained and crate trained. He does okay with calm dogs.
The best home for Jordan would be a calm, quiet place with adults who understand and can accommodate the needs of an elderly dog. And Jordan really doesn’t need much…just some love and a soft spot to land.

Zoey

If you are looking for a quiet little dog who loves to go for walks and car rides, then you’ve just got to meet sweet Zoey!
Zoey is about 4 years young and said to be a mix of Pug and Terrier.
This canine cutie with the adorable underbite is looking for a quiet home with adults who will love and cherish her always. Zoey also enjoys cuddling and snuggles.

Sassy

Sweet Sassy is the ultimate cuddle bug! This pretty calico LOVES people! Sassy is happiest when she is on your lap, purring with love and companionship! Sassy enjoys being brushed and petted. She’s a fabulous feline who just wants to be with her people.

Sassy is spayed, up to date with her shots, and microchipped. Don’t miss out on the chance to bring this purr-fect kitty home with you. Text 435-767-1468 for more information on sweet Sassy and to schedule a meet n greet with her!

Loki

Handsome Loki came to us through no fault of his own. He is very playful, and at 4 years young Loki is still very kitten-like.
Loki loves cuddles and pets and would be best in a home with older kids who are kind and respectful. With proper introductions, Loki would be fine with other kitties. Sweet Loki would make a fantastic feline companion for anyone who appreciates all the love and laughter kitties have to give!

Kizzy

Blue-eyed beauty Kizzy is still looking for her fur-ever home. This petite Siamese blend is a gorgeous girl who can be a little shy at first. Once she settles in, Kizzy is very friendly and loving!

A great fan of pets and chin scritches, Kizzy is looking for someone to love on her. She is good with cats, dogs, and kids!

Meet JuneBug’s Pups

Beautiful JuneBug was a smart and playful mom who loves to play ball. Her 7 puppies, born December 23, are sure to inherit her best qualities.

These 7 are available as foster to adopt locally until spayed/neutered at which time they will be all yours! If you’re interested in the pups, submit a BAM Adoption Application through the link provided above.

Flynn

Flynn is a four-year-old McNab (or Decker Hunter) Terrier/Border Collie mix. He’s been with his last person since he was a puppy and has been well-loved but his owner could no longer provide him with the care and attention he needs and sadly brought him to us.

Flynn gets along well with other dogs and is well-socialized with people (including children) but hasn’t yet been tested with cats. He loves a good game of tug or a puzzle feeder to encourage his curiosity.

Flynn is a picky eater and guards his food. For some reason, he is afraid of delivery trucks and some men. Unfortunately, this breed sheds more than most so his new adopter will need to be prepared.

A quick Google search on this breed shows they are affectionate, inquisitive, loving, alert, lively, active, intelligent, fearless, and playful dogs who tend to have separation anxiety when their owners leave them alone at home because they bond very closely with them.

Koda

Beautiful Koda is sweet, shy, and friendly. She is 1 1/2 years old. She knows the commands “come”, “sit”, and “down” and is also housebroken and crate trained. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. All she needs is a new family.

We were told she is fearful of men and may be destructive if left alone in the house due to her anxiety but we haven’t witnessed this behavior at the adoption center. Just in case, she needs a patient adopter with experience with this kind of behavior. She gets along with other dogs as long as they aren’t too overwhelming and is good with kids. She loves to be petted!

Dash

Some Native American cultures believe having heterochromia (one blue eye and one brown) means one can see heaven and earth at the same time. They refer to this as having Ghost Eyes and beautiful Dash definitely has them. And if his eyes don’t melt your heart, his cute little nose will! Not only is he stunning, but he’s also a total love bug who will melt right into your arms.

Dash was dumped at Parowan Gap and lived on his own for at least two weeks. One of the local families put food out for him until he became brave enough to be coaxed inside where he immediately found the couch. He was good with their kids and dogs.

Dash is young (we’re guessing six months to a year) and has a lot of energy. He likes to play with other dogs but can be enthusiastic so he’ll do best with some training. He’s afraid of loud noises and sudden movements and terrified of water from a hose. Who knows what this sweet boy went through before he was left to fend for himself? He deserves so much better.

Mercy

Nine-year-old Mercy is a well-mannered girl who would make a nice companion for an individual or a low-key couple. She likes to go for walks or have an enclosed backyard space to run around in and explore but, like most of our canine friends, she prefers the comfort of indoors to come back to when she’s done.

Mercy is kennel trained, enjoys her naps, and likes being the only pet in the house. She’s housebroken and loves the option of a doggie door if provided. Mercy will sit, shake and lie down on command (most of the time). She doesn’t jump on furniture unless invited. She doesn’t jump up on people. She’s polite at feeding time. She’s a sweetheart!

Mercy needs to be food rationed (smaller amounts) or may eat until she gets sick. We’ve found three small meals a day works well for her. She also may have an allergy to chicken.
